Telus Smart Hub provides web management interface for configuring Wi-Fi settings, network preferences, and device controls at http://telus.ztesmarthub.
How to login to Telus Smart Hub?
- Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
- Type http://telus.ztesmarthub in the address bar and press Enter.
- Enter the default password: admin and click Login.
- You will access the Telus Smart Hub Web User Interface successfully.
Note: You can also access the interface using the default IP address http://192.168.0.1 in your browser.
How to change Telus Smart Hub Network Name and Wi-Fi Password?
- Log into the Web User Interface using the steps above.
- From the main dashboard, click Settings under Wi-Fi section.
- Select either 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz Wi-Fi Settings based on your preference.
- Enter your desired Wi-Fi network name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
- Enter your new Wi-Fi password in the Password field.
- Click Apply then Yes to confirm and save the settings.
These configuration steps are applicable to the ZTE MF279T Smart Hub model.
Troubleshooting Access Issues
If you cannot access the Telus Smart Hub interface, try these solutions:
- Verify your device is connected to the Telus Smart Hub network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then attempt access again.
- Try using a different web browser or incognito/private browsing mode.
- Ensure the Smart Hub is powered on and all indicator lights are functioning normally.
- Restart your device and try connecting again.
- If telus.ztesmarthub doesn’t work, use the IP address 192.168.0.1 instead.
