To access routerlogin.net or routerlogin.com, ensure your device connects to your NETGEAR router’s WiFi network. Default WiFi settings appear on your NETGEAR router’s back label. Follow these steps for NETGEAR router login:

  1. Open a browser and type http://192.168.1.1 or http://routerlogin.net.
  2. Enter Username: admin and Password: password, then click OK.
  3. You will successfully access your NETGEAR router admin panel.

How to Change Network Name (SSID) and WiFi Password

  1. Launch a browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.1 or http://routerlogin.net.
  2. Input Username: admin and Password: password.
  3. Select the Wireless tab, then enter your preferred Wireless Network Name (SSID) in the designated field.
  4. Input your new Password (Network Key) under Security Options (WPA2-PSK).
  5. Click Apply to implement the changes.

How to Recover NETGEAR Admin Password

Recover your forgotten NETGEAR admin password using the built-in password recovery feature:

  1. Connect your computer to the NETGEAR WiFi network.
  2. Open a web browser and type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
  3. When the login page appears, click Cancel to redirect to the Router Password Recovery page.
  4. Enter your router’s serial number (found on the back or bottom label).
  5. Input the router serial number and click Continue.

Factory Reset Steps

If you cannot recover your password, perform a factory reset:

  4. Release the button when the Power LED blinks amber.

Warning: Factory reset erases all custom settings including WiFi names, passwords, port forwarding rules, and parental controls.
