- Launch your web browser and navigate to http://netis.cc or http://192.168.1.1.
- The web admin page will ask you to in put a new WiFi password which you can set up later.
- Click the Advanced menu on the right top, you will access the router admin interface successfully.
How to change Netis Network Name (SSID)?
- Access your router by typing http://netis.cc or http://192.168.1.1 and complete the login process.
- Navigate to Wireless > Wireless Settings (2.4G) from the navigation menu. For 5G configuration, select the Wireless 5G option instead.
- Locate the SSID field and input your desired WiFi network name.
- Click the Save button to apply your network name changes.
How to change Netis WiFi Password?
- Open your browser, enter http://netis.cc or http://192.168.1.1, and log into your router.
- Select Wireless > Wireless Security from the left menu panel.
- Set the Authentication Type to WPA/WPA2-PSK for optimal security.
- Enter your new WiFi password in the Password field, then click Save to confirm changes.
Troubleshooting Access Issues
If you cannot access your Netis router interface, try these solutions:
- Verify your device connects to the Netis network via WiFi or Ethernet cable.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then attempt access again.
- Try using http://192.168.1.1 if http://netis.cc doesn’t respond.
- Disable firewall or antivirus software temporarily to test connectivity.
- Restart your router by unplugging power for 10 seconds, then reconnecting.
- Check that your computer’s IP address is in the 192.168.1.x range.
