  • Ensure your device is connected to the FRITZ!Box network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
  • Access the interface using the emergency IP address http://169.254.1.1 if the standard addresses fail.
  • Always enter the full address including “http://” to prevent browser web searches.
  • Ensure you’re typing 192.168.178.1 correctly, not 192.168.l78.1 (with letter ‘l’).
  • Delete cookies and browsing data, then retry accessing the interface.
  • Temporarily disable any VPN or proxy connections that might interfere.
