Attlocal.net is the admin interface for AT&T U-verse gateways to modify Wi-Fi passwords, network names (SSID), and gateway configuration settings at http://attlocal.net.
How to login to Attlocal.net?
- Open a web browser and type http://attlocal.net or http://192.168.1.254 in the address bar.
- Enter the Device Access Code and click Submit.
- You will be logged into the AT&T U-verse router admin interface.
Note: The Device Access Code is located on a sticker on the back of your AT&T U-verse gateway device.
How to change Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Password?
- Log into the router settings using the steps above.
- Navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Enter the new Wi-Fi Network Name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
- Enter the new Wi-Fi Password in the Wi-Fi Password field.
- Click Save to apply changes.
- To configure 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi separately, select Advanced Options.
Compatible Devices: AT&T U-verse Pace 5268AC Gateway, NVG599, BGW210, and other AT&T residential gateways.
Troubleshooting Access Issues
If you cannot access attlocal.net, try these solutions:
- Ensure your device is connected to the AT&T U-verse network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Use http://192.168.1.254 if attlocal.net doesn’t load.
- Double-check the code on your gateway’s label – it’s case-sensitive.
- Delete cookies and browsing data, then attempt access again.
- Unplug the gateway for 30 seconds, then reconnect power.
- Turn off any VPN connections that might interfere with local network access.
